Obriy 1.4C is an *wideband drone detection device with an integrated display. It is designed to identify FPV drones, DJI Mavic-type drones, and certain fixed-wing UAVs (with non-frequency-hopping video links) across a 1–6 GHz range (1050–2600, 2720–4000, 4000–6040 MHz). This is currently one of the broadest detection ranges available, with ongoing development to extend it further.

Key Advantages:

  • 1–6 GHz frequency coverage (1050–2600, 2720–4000, 4000–6040 MHz)
Covers a wide spectrum, increasing the likelihood of detecting various drone types
  • Detection of digital video signals
Unlike most detectors, this device can identify digital transmission used by Mavic drones and reconnaissance UAVs
    * Field test: 700–1000 m using a 1W transmitter at 5.8 GHz; actual range depends on RF environment
  • Rugged metal enclosure with shielding (IP65 rated)
Provides durability and reduces interference from electronic warfare systems and nearby transmitters
  • Protected against EW interference and static discharge
Includes a self-diagnostic system that alerts the user in case of malfunction; covered by warranty service
  • Proven product line since July 2023
Continuous improvements based on real-world use ensure higher reliability

Features and Capabilities:

  • Wideband operation – continuous monitoring from 1 GHz to 6 GHz, including non-standard frequencies
  • Video signal capture – ability to display intercepted feed directly on the device or via PC
  • Smart WiFi/Bluetooth filtering – reduces false alarms by excluding common consumer signals
  • Integration with EW systems – dry contact output enables automated response when a threat is detected
  • Live spectrum analysis – real-time RF visualization via Android or PC (USB connection)
  • Adaptive calibration – automatically adjusts sensitivity based on the environment
  • Direction finding mode – estimates drone direction (up to ~60° accuracy with directional antenna)
  • FPV-only detection mode – filters out digital signals for cleaner alerts in noisy conditions
  • Stealth mode (“Blackout”) – disables all visual indicators
  • Custom band filtering – allows selective disabling of specific frequency ranges
